Attachment hell... Please give us dogtags!
OK, so I've really tried to live with the itty-bitty-icon attachments, but they're driving me bannanas. I cannot tie a description to them and they require double-clicking.
Am I the only one that wants dog tags like in oo3? Please please please give me my dogtags! mike p.s. I actually like and prefer the link instead of embed behavior, just need to describe my links! |
Didn't realize they worked
My attachment icons don't work with a double click (they do nothing and I thought they were non-functional), but it turns out I can open the linked documents from the contextual menu over the icon. Thanks for mentioning this, as attachments are necessary in my workflow and this is the main reason I haven't yet been able to give OF a workout.
Of course, the current icons also have the problems noted above and don't align with the text, so they're not a final solution. I'd love to see the dogtags as well. |
yes please!
i assume something more is in the works, some identifier past a generic icon seems necessary, but cant hurt to put my 2c in!...i also would like to see a simple double click open the file so one would not have to option click.
