Most faithful single-file export?
 

A fellow planner uses free hotmail, which he says cannot attach an omniplan file. I note that the "file" is a package--sort of a folder in disguise. We apparently cannot exchange plans directly without fiddling with packages.

Is there a fully faithful single-file export format? I would like to share preferences, formats, and other settings as much as possible.

Use File->Create Archive in the finder to make a .zip file from just about anything, which can then be mailed to/from your friend as an attachment even with (ugh) Hotmail.
