Bezier with orthogonal start
 

Hey, I'm trying to create lines that will start orthogonally from the object that they connect with. Basically I want Bezier lines where both start points have their "Bezier handles" (not sure if there's a term for this) drawn orthogonally outwards from the object the line connects too. The default behavior for these handles is to be in line with the line that I create and I don't think I can change this to other default behavior?

Orthogonal with a huge corner radius doesn't give me the look I want :)

Looks like you won't be able to automatically do this, as some manipulation of the bezier handles will be required after creating the line. However, a straight line with a midpoint at the corner and a very large corner radius should get you what you're after, and likely be easier to create and modify.
