I've read some of the recent posts and have been working on flattening mine also : ) it does make it much easier to find stuff on the iphone client , rather than making it dig through the folder hierarchies to file something .

And, wilsonng, yeah ... OF might be overwhelming for someone starting out, too. ;-)[/QUOTE]

If you scroll down to the bottom of the OmniFocus web page, you'll find links to the screencasts.

They offer tips to using OF......

Getting someone started

I recommend the recording of the the two day GTD seminar as even better than the recording GTD (the book). DA is in his element presenting the material and very inspiring.

Where we find that, Randy? I’ve never come across it.

Yes, that’s a major advantage I wasn’t even thinking of when I did it at first!

Randy, is this the recording to which you are referring?

I'm not randy but .. either that one or there used to be a cd or cassette series called GTD fast .
It was sold by Davidco and I think Nightingale Conant .
It's out of print now .. not sure about e-bay availability .
It was a recording of the two day and was really good .. I'm guessing this one is un-abridged .

Youch, pricey! Too rich for my blood. I’m getting enough things done without that. ;-)

Yeah, I wasn't planning to drop that kind of coin either, but wanted to see if it was something different than what I already borrowed from my local library system (the GTD Fast! thing). I'll wait for the movie on Blu-Ray :-)
