Task delete accidental In backup available ...
 

I delete a task.
I don't know what I have done.
I thought I could use the backup from yesterday.

I start the backup from yesterday and there is the delete task.

OK.

I work in this database and switch off Omnifocus later.
One hour when I start OF again, this task is again missing.
I thougth if I start the backup file this open database would use as actual database ?

Or do I a wrong workflow ?

If there a possibility if I notice my mistake to late - 2 or 3 steps later - that I can do this mistake retrogressive ?

It sounds like you opened and started editing your backup document rather than restoring from it. To restore your main library from that backup, try choosing "Revert to Database Backup" from the File menu.

My english is not good enought to understand your answer.
In german menue I have 3 possibilities

1 Sicherungskopie der Datenbank erstellen
2 Auf Sicherungskopie der Datenbank zurücksetzen
3 Datenbank neu aufbauen

2 ? but I'm not sure ;-(

Ja, nummer zwei!

Es ist "Auf Sicherheitskopie der Datenbank zurücksetzen…"*. Dort wählst du dann das Backup aus, welches du zurückspielen möchtest.

Wenn du ein Backup per Doppelklick öffnest, funktioniert das zwar, aber es wird damit nicht automatisch wieder zur Standardarbeitsdatenbank.

* Die dt. Übersetzung in Omni Anwendungen ist leider teilweise sehr "launisch".
