nested items

Hi all,

On the desktop version you can nest items inside each other.
In the iPhone version you can see these nested items that were created on the desktop, but I don't see anyway to create nested items on the iPhone.

Am I missing a trick?

TIA
Ian

No, right now it's not possible , I think Omni focused on executing the basics and keeping the app as simple as possible but yet pretty powerful.

you can make an item into a project but I don't know of any way to " nest " items .

Ah, thanks - I thought so.

We added support for nesting items in v1.0.2: when editing an item, touch the "file" button in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will bring up a new screen, where you can choose to turn the item into a new project of its own or to move it within another item.

Ken,

Hijacking this thread - but how's it possible to outdent? I.e. I have a project in a folder and I want to move it up to the top level. I can't see a way to do this using the folder button.

Am I missing something?

Thanks - J.

Assuming you're viewing the folder which currently contains the project:

Touch the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Touch the project you wish to move.
Touch the File button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Touch "(Top Level)" to indicate that you wish to place your project at the top level, outside any folders.
There you go!

:o - I'm embarrassed - thanks.
