Drag to calendar to reschedule tasks?

Is there by chance a calendar plugin for OmniFocus for Mac that will allow us to drag tasks to it to (re-)schedule them? Will a calendar be incorporated into version 2.0? I'm not talking about full-fledged calendar integration, but only a little calendar for scheduling tasks and seeing what's due on a given date.

It's comparatively very cumbersome and counterintuitive to have to open the Inspector, click on the due date box, and type in the new date. Even double clicking the calendar icon, then clicking on a date is much more involved than dragging tasks to a calendar.

I'm very grateful for any help anyone can provide.

I just view the due date as a column, click it, and type 3d or whatever to postpone 3 days. There's also a "postpone" script out there that you can use to ease this.

Dan Byler's Defer script is what I use. http://bylr.net/3/2008/02/omnifocus-defer-script/

Thanks so much for your kind help. I'm a total beginner with OmniFocus, and I think the initial overwhelm is starting to go away and I'm beginning to see why people like this program so much.
