Transfer data from OmniFocus to OmniOutliner
 

Hi gang,

Does anybody know of any way to copy-and-paste information (or somehow transfer information) from OmniFocus to OmniOutliner?

After I've completed an action in OmniFocus, I'd like to copy-and-paste the entire action into OmniOutliner, so I can keep it permanently in OmniOutliner. I'd like to bring over any notes that are attached to that particular action, along with any children actions that are a part of that action.

However, right now when I copy-and-paste, it flattens all the actions to become top-level items in OmniOutliner, and it doesn't bring over any notes at all. So it doesn't respect the hierarchy of items, and all the notes are lost completely.

Any ideas on how to do this?

There are also various scripts which, together with the each action's text and note, also export the other fields (dates etc) to OmniOutliner columns.
