Overdue items don't sync

When using the "Publish Due reminders as a calendar", items that are overdue do not sync.

It would be really nice if they did!

How would that be helpful? Once you've missed the due date, why do you want to see it in a calendar? At that point, a simple list of overdue items seems like a more effective interface, if the goal is to finish any overdue items immediately.

I am using the calendar from OF to sync with my Google Tasks.
