Send Task VIA Email
 

Hi,
I searched for an answer, but couldn't find it.

Is there a way to send or forward a task item via mail?

It doesn't need to be as well structured as my iPad version (but that's nice!!)

You can bounce a mail off of a special address we set up - it sends you back an email that converts the one you sent to a "Add to OmniFocus" link. More info [URL="http://forums.omnigroup.com/showpost.php?p=90558&postcount=1"]here[/URL].

If you mean the ability to send an action from one person to another, that's possible (as you noted) in the iPad app, but we haven't had a chance to add it to the other two apps yet. Let us know if you'd like to be attached to that feature request for the Mac or iPhone apps in our development database; happy to do so for you. Hope this helps!

Two scripts [URL="http://bit.ly/OFintoMail"]here[/URL], one of which creates an OS X Mail email from the selected task(s) in Taskpaper text format.

And another script [URL="http://bit.ly/TPintoOF"]here[/URL], which imports Taskpaper text into OF as nested projects/tasks. [In case anyone else wants to incorporate elements of your email into their own OF database].
