Line length questions: Anyone??

I have OG 4 Pro. I have two related questions on line lengths

1) I know I can use the Length variable to show the length of a line. Is there any way to control the number of decimal points it shows? Right now length is shown with 4 decimal points and I would like less or even none. For example, I am trying to set a line to 7 kilometers (using a scale) and it's impossible for it to show exactly that number. I want to be able to set it to zero decimal points, if possible.

2) Is there anyway to fix the length of a line yet still be able to move it around. I see that I can lock the line which will fix the length but it also stops me from moving it around.
