Unable to connect to download server

I have a slightly different take on the "application is not licensed" problem described in some other threads—I just rebooted, so I've been hit by the bug. Unfortunately, I'm running r88097, so Ken's recent fix won't help me. I would download the latest build, but connections to downloads.extremesims.com keep timing out. I'm not sure if this is an authentication problem (after rebooting, I have not been asked again for my username/password for downloading these alpha builds—I can only assume there's a cookie somewhere...), or whether maybe extremesims.com has daily maintenance outages, or what. Can anyone at Omni shed any light on this? I'm now locked out of OmniFocus, and unable to download an updated build. :(

Heh. I'm not even being asked for one. I assume the download server is, err, down.

I'm still unable to download any builds. Has anyone downloaded an alpha in the past 12 hours? I went to bed hoping this would be resolved in the morning. :) I'm still wondering if there's an authentication issue, as I just tried using Firefox, which I have not used for this before and presumably has no related cookies.

Paul,

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but I've had no trouble downloading the alphas today. Maybe you have an old bookmark to the sneaky peak downloads page. I'm getting mine from:

Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Curt

At Omni everything seems to be working fine. We aren't aware of any problems. Please let us know if you continue to experience problems.

I'm having a problem logging in with 1Passwd. I have to manually enter my userid and password. Other than that, no problem downloading.

I'm not using 1Passwd. I've tried clearing cookies in Safari, as well as Firefox, and still no joy. (A support ninja was kind enough to mail me a copy of the latest build, so my immediate problem is fixed, but I still can't download.)

Thanks Curt, that's the URL I'm using. I just tried it from a nearby Windows XP box using Firefox, same symptoms: not asked to authenticate at any point (I've never downloaded an alpha on this machine, so I've never used my username/password from it), and times out connecting to downloads.extremesims.com. I'm completely stumped.
