Send to OmniFocus bookmarklet

I see that when I open a URL that starts with omnifocus: in mobile Safari, the iPhone starts OmniFocus, but then doesn't recognize the format of the URL.

I assume that OmniFocus for iPhone has registered the omnifocus: scheme, and that this can be used to send URLs to OmniFocus from the iPhone. But what should the format of the URL be? How can I create a "Send to OmniFocus" bookmarklet on my mobile Safari?

I haven't tested this myself, but I would expect the bookmarklets discussed in this thread would work in MobileSafari as well as in Safari.

Brian,

What is discussed in this thread is a software for Mac which implement a URL handle for x-omnifocus:. But as far as I can see, OmniFocus already has a URL handler for omnifocus: and I am wondering what the syntax should be use that standard URL handler.

It's also worth noting that most of the objects in OF can have URL's copied to the pasteboard via Edit -> Copy as Link (From the main menu and context menu).

Ah, interesting. So the omnifocus: URL is a way to point to something in OmniFocus, and can't be used to add something to OmniFocus (which would be kind of convenient, at least on the iPhone).

Thanks for all the details!

Update: Oops, I just noticed the original post was in the iPhone forum, which does not have perspectives. Sorry. Will post in Mac forum as well.

Is there a way to link to perspectives? (is there some official documentation of the syntax? I could not find it in the manual).
