Export as HTML with a <title>
Export as HTML Dynamic creates an excellent HTML page, especially after fine-tuning the various OmniOutliner Format options.
The only thing missing for me is the ability to have a meaningful title on the HTML page. OmniOutliner Pro generates an empty title:
<title></title>
Ideally, an outline would have a "title" attribute. I'd be happy if the first line became the HTML title. It is possible to add a title through OmniOutliner. If you enter a outline title yourself in OmniOutliner that will be used for the title tag. However, the default of the file name is ignored. In OmniOutliner, show the title (View -> Show Outline Title -> Always) and you'll see a bubble tag with the file name. Edit that field and enter your own text, that will be used for the html title tag. I've logged a bug on this and we'll get it fixed.

I'd discovered the ability to show the title, but since the default title didn't get exported, I gave up. Also, the title affordance did not invite me to change it. On first impression, it seemed to simply be a button-like static display of the file name. |
