Friendly URL's
I am trying to export documents that have readable links. Is it possible to do this within omnioutliner?
For example, in apple mail you can create a link by selecting text and hitting command+k. You can also do this in pages or even in this forum application. You end up with asking people to follow this link rather than posting a long address such as: http://www.cnn.com/2011/10/23/opinion/greene-baseball-manager-uniforms/index.html?hpt=hp_c2 Thanks, Steve |

What format are you exporting to?

Hi Derek,
I am a teacher trying to share my daily lesson plan which includes links to websites and online assignments. I have been writing in markdown and pasting that into the course management system. However, I have switched back to omnioutliner as I feel more organized and it is easier to move things around. I am open to any format: - a PDF that the students can open and click on the links - an html export that I link to from the main site - a markdown type of format that I copy and paste Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. You can do this with the HTML exports. If you change the label on the attachment tag of the URL, that label is what will appear for the hyperlink.

Thanks, Derek. That works very well in the html export.
