Vacation
 

Hi all,

What about vacation ? One of my developer estimated 3 weeks for a project in august (so I got it planned for Aug 1st to 31st let's say) but she's taking a week off from the 7th to the 14th. What's the best way to represent that ?

You may assign him/her a task "vacation" with duration of 5 working days and set up dependencies from the previous and to the next task. And you can lock the start and finish dates as well.

Once we fix a bug....there's the calendar view, where you can specify the work schedule for specific days for specific resources. Just pick the week she'll be gone, delete all the green work periods from it and OmniPlan will schedule her tasks around that. (The bug is that it doesn't schedule around that just yet!)

Has this bug been fixed? The tasks do not seem to reschedule around vacation on the calendar. Is there some other way to do this.
