Flowcharting
 

I Would like to know what experience anyone has had using OmniGraffle to do Flow charting good or bad?

Any recommendations if not satisfactory.

I definitely recommend OmniGraffle. I've been using it for sometime now - hundreds of diagrams, often flow diagram / flow charts. It works great.

HIGHLY recommended.

I'd have to echo priceless's sentiments. If you're working on a Mac, I doubt you'll find anything that comes even remotely close to OG for flowcharting. The more you use it, the more it will surprise you; it really is as close to perfection as software can get!

The other thing to look at are stencils -- and graffletopia. You'll find on that site a whole bunch of useful stencils that might help you get up to speed on your flowcharts even faster.

I've created several of my own stencils, which helps a great deal in making quick diagrams with a consistent look.
