OG6 r196000 Applescript now faster than OG5

Tim Wood has now succeeded in making the Graffle 6.01 r196000 test version run Applescripts faster than OG5.

On my system, over 50% is shaved off the execution time of the script and test file used in the http://forums.omnigroup.com/showthread.php?t=30822 discussion.
OG5 1.47
OG6.01 r196000 0.64s
A very welcome change from the 900+% slowdown in the shipped 6.0 release version, even if not quite on the scale of improvement which Ken originally seemed to feel had been measured.

Speed is therefore no longer an obstacle to using OG6 in work-flows which involve scripts, as long as you can afford to take the risk of using test builds beyond r196000, rather than the paid version which has been shipped.

The remaining obstacle is that OG6 (release and test builds) still seems to be breaking most complex scripts and script actions (see elsewhere in this forum). Some of this may be because of additions to the object model, but it is also clear that there are still glitches or gaps in the implementation of the existing set of classes, methods and properties.

Until these are tracked down and mended, and any object model changes are gathered together and listed somewhere, moving from OG5 to OG6 is still more likely to disrupt script-dependent work, than to facilitate it.
