Can't use template to create org chart?
 

Hi folks,

I just downloaded OmniGraffle 5.2.1 and am using the non-licensed 14 day version.

I'm trying to create an Org Chart using the Org Chart (color) template and nothing shows up...I just get a blank canvas. I tried all the other templates and I just get a blank canvas.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this specifically turned off for trial version users?

Also, I seemed to be able to circumvent the problem somewhat when I went to the Stencile Library, but after a few minutes those options all became grayed out as well.

Can someone help?

If you use any of the Org Chart templates, just start typing out your hierarchy in the Outline Editor, and it will lay out automatically according to the template's diagram style.
