Bug? Insert Variable, Total Pages
Hi there,
First off, I love OG! What a joy and a pleasure it is to use. But... Minor thing, but very irritating this: when I ask OG - via Insert Variable, Total Pages - to count and display the number of pages (canvases) in a document, it mis-counts. Bizarre. Looks like its doubling the actual number of pages, so that it displays a 4 page document as having 8 pages, a 52 page doucment as having 104 pages, and so on. Anyone else experience this? A known bug? Fix coming anytime soon? Thanks in advance. Great software! |
Seems to pass a simple test case here:

It works for me here, too.
My thought, not seeing the file, is that it is counting pages and each canvas in your document has two pages (pages = printed pages) (canvases = the spaces that you create diagrams in) When I create a canvas that is two pages wide, the total pages count doubles. You could try using the "total canvases" variable and see if that gives you the desired effect. HTH --Morgan |
I think Morgan has hit the nail squarely on the head!
