Where's the Missing Manual?
Hi,
I just purchased Omni Outliner Pro, but the installer apparently didn't download the manual. Returning to the website, I can't find it and there is no search feature of the website. I am having trouble with the keyboard shortcuts for moving line items to the right, etc. Does anyone know what key combinations represent ^#~-><! (That's an exaggeration, but I'm a little exasperated at this point). The Help menu doesn't have any explanation of shortcuts. Thanks, Michael |
Hi, you can get the manual here:
http://www.omnigroup.com/ftp/pub/software/MacOSX/Manuals/OmniOutliner-3.0-Manual.pdf (Direct link to the PDF) The default shortcut for moving an item to the right is: ⌃⌘→ ⌃ is the symbol for the Control key. ⌘ is the symbol for the Command / Apple Key → is the symbol for the right arrow key You can also use ⌘] a little simpler, the second key there is the right bracket. Hope that helps! |
Hello Michael,
There should be a "Keyboard Commands" item in OmniOutliner's Help menu. This provides a legend for all of the key symbols. |
Thanks
I downloaded the manual. Your comments were also helpful.
Thank you, M |
