Clip-o-Tron 3000 Date Added

The current behavior when adding an email from Mac Mail into OF via the Clip-o-Tron 3000 seems to be to take the date the email was received and use it as the date added when "clipped" into OF. Is it possible to have the date added to OF be the actual date the addition to OF happened?
