image zooming?

Is Safari 3's image zooming specific to safari and not webkit? Is there any chance it's on the agenda for inclusion in OW?

I hope so. I didn't like this feature in IE6. Problem is, with the ease of uploading images to sites, many n00bs don't bother to resize them thinking the browser will do it for everyone.
