Limitation of adblock rules?
Is there any limitation for the # of regexp rules?
|
No limitation, however the longer the list the slower page loads will be since OmniWeb has to parse through the list when loading in content.
|
It's weird then.
I've one rule that dosen't work with other 1000+ in blacklist, but works when only one alone. So I guess either you have a limit on #, or there's a invalid pattern and OW stops parsing rules. Is it correct? |
There's no limitation that I'm aware of and OmniWeb should just disable invalid rules and not be blocked by them. Would you mind sending us your preference file? If you could mail it over to our support address (omniweb5@omnigroup.com) we can take a look to see what's going on.
Thanks! |
Probably ought to tell them which of 1000+ rules it is that is having the problem, too :-)
