Publishing Due Reminders as a calendar and Completed tasks events
 

Hi,

I have the "Publishing Due Reminders as a calendar" option turned on in an attempt to get notifications from the Calendar app when some tasks are due.

On the other hand, sometimes I complete these tasks before they are due, but I still see the events in my Calendar even if I've marked the tasks as completed in OF. This leads to completely useless notifications.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this a limitation of the way this integration works?

OmniFocus will publish updated info to the server every time you sync, but we don't have a way to force your calendar app to pull down that updated information. If the deadline arrives before the next time your calendar checks the server, you'll get notifications even though the item has been marked complete in OmniFocus...
