Freezing on open
I am using omniweb latest version (5.8) and OS X latest (10.5.6). Since yesterday, Omniweb has been freezing on open. Just hangs. Ball spins, progress wheels spin, nothing appears on pages. Only force quit will close it. I have tried these things:
- delete preferences file - delete WebpageIcons.db - start omniweb while holding shift key to get new workspace - re-downloading and reinstalling omniweb - restarting computer - repairing disk permissions - verifying disk - other random system maintenance Nothing has allowed me to open omniweb without it freezing and needing to be force quit. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it? Thanks. |

That did the trick. Thanks JD3!
Actual path to folder was in Users/username/Library/Caches for anyone else trying this at home. |
It's probably being very slow opening the history database. If this is similar to other hangs-on-launch I've seen, it will eventually un-hang, and will be usable after that. I don't work on OW, so I'm not completely familiar with this bug, though.
