Editing OmniGraffe drawing sources from MS Word
 

It would be absolutly fantastic to be able to edit an OmniGraffe drawing from within Ms Word (on Mac).

I'm doing lots of documentation (Use Cases) and as you know this is a very iterative process demanding lots of edit.

It would be nice to have a Publish/Suscribe ability between the two application (and others) so that when the OmniGraffe drawing (Published) is in place (subscribed) within the Ms Word you would Double clic and edit the drawing ...DYNAMICALY AFFECTING the Source file accordingly.

Any other users looking for this function?

The ability is already there in OmniGraffle (LinkBack*), just not in Word. There is also fat chance that MS will add support for LinkBack into the Office programmes no matter how useful it would be.

* You can demonstrate this for yourself by copying and pasting a group of objects as a PDF within OmniGraffle and then double clicking the PDF - it will open a separate window for the PDF of the group that reverts to being an editable set of the original OmniGraffle objects.

As a side note, it is really disappointing to see so little support from the majority of other Mac developers for LinkBack in their software as well. I really wish Apple would adopt it and get it better publiscised.
