Howto create a new stencil?
 

Hi,

I've searched the whole forum, but couldn't find anything that actually helped!
Is it possible to create a stencil in Illustrator and the bring it into OG? If I create a simple circle or a star (just as a test) and then bring it to OG either by copy&paste or through importing it as an .ai or .eps file I can't e.g. change the stroke size/color or the fill color. I always applies those changes to a rectangle which kind of surrounds the actual shape.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

In this case instead of copying and pasting, I'd save from Illustrator as a PDF or PDF-compatible .ai file, and then directly open it with OmniGraffle Professional.
