Earned Value reporting

I am about to start a new project and am considering upgrading from version 1.7 to 2.0. However, would like to know if anybody has any experience using Earned Value reporting with version 2.0.

It appear from the users manual that EV reporting is not built into the tool natively, have anybody experience in using exports and generating EV reporting from those, e.g. using Apple Script?
