OmniWeb 5.5.4 now available.
 

This is a small update that contains a number of fixes to the download window. It also brings the security and performance fixes that were part of 5.5.4 beta 1 to a stable release.

Awesome, it seems that bookmarklet pop-ups now work - sure they didn't used to!

Troy and Omni in general, I have noticed Omniweb really rarely crashes (never here) even on a highly modified system like mine for 2-3 versions now, is it just me or Omniweb 5.5.x series became really stable?

I am asking since I know developers can freely work on new major version and features when they don't get thousands of crashes on current version.

I wouldn't say it's crash free, 5.5 fixed some and introduced others. Over all, it's helped but it isn't quite there yet. Our hope is to have 5.6 behaving better for everyone!

Everyone,

Although many of the entries to this General Forum are covering errors / bugs / complaints, I felt a nice post would be fresh. That being said, I have tried many browsers other than OmniWeb looking for more speed or more response or more of something that I thought OmniWeb was missing. However, it seems that I always find myself returning to OmniWeb. Thanks OmniGroup for producing a great browser.
