Route lines around objects?
 

Is there a way to tell lines to route around objects? It seems like a simple feature that I can't seem to find.

I don't understand this either.
At what point with automatic layout is it a good idea to have a line run on top of a flowchart shape?

I see this is from 2009 -- it there any chance this has been addressed since?

I'd love to have this ability as well.
