Web, Android or something?
I love OmniFocus but I have to use an Android phone now. Dang. What to do? I do not suppose that there are plans for an Android version? If not there really needs to be a web version that can be used from non-Apple platforms. I would pay for it.
Thanks, Sean |
It doesn't appear that they will be branching out to Android apps anytime soon. A web solution is an interesting prospect but I don't recall reading anything on the forums about this except for "that's something to look into in the future..."
Perhaps you can try http://www.nozbe.com/ My boss like to use Asana for team management: http://www.asana.com/ Here is a better web page for GTD online: http://regulargeek.com/2011/07/25/13-free-gtd-online-tools-for-mac-windows-or-linux/ |
I agree. I'd pay for this functionality, also. I carry two phones a lot of the time just for this. A simple way to just view my lists/perspectives on the web would satisfy my needs. I don't necessarily need to manage everything via the web, just get at my data (and maybe a quick entry to dump into the inbox though that can be done via email, etc)
With Omni Sync Server already there it seems like the data portion isn't a problem. Just querying it and rendering it in a mobile readable form. I had some scripts running on my home Mac to periodically write perspectives out to static HTML, but there were a couple bugs in OmniFocus that prevented it from working reliably 100% of the time. |
