"Omnifocus cannot start synchronization server"
Mac OS 10.6.8
Omnifocus 1.9.3 Cannot set up Sync Server using Bonjour. Repeatedly, when attempting to set up Sync database in Synchronization Preferences, selecting Sync with: Bonjour and clicking "Keep the sync database on this Mac" and setting password, I get error message "Cannot start synchronization server. Check the log file for error messages." Log file says: Presenting modal error: code = 2143 domain = "com.omnigroup.OmniFocus user Info = NSLocalizedDescription = "Cannot start synchronization server." I have reset the settings and repeated the Sync Preferences sequence numerous times with the same result. Any ideas? |
Hmm...I'm not sure what's up with that. It's probably easiest if you could send that log file to our support ninjas (omnifocus@omnigroup.com) so they can work with you directly to sort this one out.
