Command-click opens a new window instead of a new tab

My preferences are set so that command-click opens a link in a new active tab. If I go to [url]http://forums.parallax.com[/url] and command-click the logo in the upper-left corner, SP7 opens a new window even though the status bar says it will open a new tab.

5.1.3 opens the link in a new tab as expected.
