How do I Unhide columns
Hello,
I hid a column contents (right click: summary type|hidden) to email someone a copy and pasted version of the outline. But now if I toggle the "hidden", none of the column content comes back. Help much appreciated. Thanks, Graham |
You don't need to go in any menu. Just write click on the column and there is a option for hide and unhide column.

Thanks Jean,
But if I right click on the column, I don't get a choice to hide and unhide the column. I only get the right click options described in the my first post. ie through a "summary" option. And the critical issue is that having untoggled hidden none of my column contents are visible - even though the column is. graham |
With OmniOutliner 3, changing a column summary or type is a destructive change. The only way to recover the previous values is by using undo. Setting the summary type to hidden removes what would be the summary cell. If you'e using 10.7 or 10.8, you can check if there's a saved version with the data you're missing by using the File > Revert Document option. Sorry for the confusion. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
