OO 1.4.x for iPad does not meet my needs at present. I expect the next version, with Omnipresence, to.

If the 'upgrade' will be free, i'd like to buy now and live with the issues.

Will v2 be free to v1 owners?

We can not comment on OO 2 for iPad as that is no where near reality yet. OmniPresence support for OO iPad will be a free update though. Unless the lack of sync is the only thing you feel 1.4.x is missing, I would recommend contacting [URL="mailto:omnioutliner-ipad@omnigroup.com"]support[/URL] about any other issues you have first so you're confident about purchasing now.
