A general question about Omni Focus
 

OmniFocus looks like a program I may be able to put to good use. I am a student and need a basic data base where I can store class information. My questions are:
1. Can I have nested folders in OmniFocus i.e.; a folder with class name and number and nested folders for documents, assignments etc.
2. Can you create templates i.e.; for class info such as Professor name, Office hours etc.
3. Can it store mail messages, not a word document but getting the whole mail document with threads

OmniFocus is not a general purpose database. It's more of a task management system; you can't throw the kitchen sink in there. If you have tasks associated with emails, it can include links to the emails in mail, but it won't let you archive all your associated emails. It is not a PIM.
