Task status filter broken for inbox?

Well, we are pretty much at release, but I recently have been running into a bug and I'm not sure if it is in my database, or in the app.

I'm finding the task status filter (Remaining, available, completed etc) has no effect while in the inbox or the "no-context" containers.

Are completed inbox items deleted?
