using the 'Search' tool
 

I have a Perspective 'All' which is set to highlight the Library so I can quickly search for any term.

However, this does not search the Inbox, which I have to select separately.

Is there a Perspective setup I can use which will allow me to search both the Library and the Inbox in one go?

Highlight the library AND the inbox in the sidebar (hold cmd), [I]then[/I] save your perspective (snapshot).
