Completed Today Perspective or report
 

Is there any mechanism within OF to limit the Perspective -Completed view to only todays date - every day it opens with all the outline triangles open and printing to pdf email is only accomplished through an export ...
maybe there's a better way all together?

Open the Completed perspective. Set the groups how you want them. Save as a new perspective, suitably named. Once you've got that done, any time you want one of these reports, you can open the Perspectives window, select the "what I did in the last day" perspective, and choose Quick Print from the gear menu at the bottom of the Perspectives window to print it or convert to PDF.
