Same here.
No French language and no bookmark in menu, eventhough they are available via the bookmarks window. |

I second that...
...but not only in the v616, in the most recent (v618) and at least the last 3 to 4 Beta-Versions the Bookmarks in the Menu are NOT showing up :-/
Can you pls fix it soon? THX
no bookmarks in the menu OmniWeb-5.7-Beta-1-v616
|
no bookmarks in the menu
OmniWeb-5.7-Beta-1-v616
It works with the "english version only" beta of OW. |
I know the cause and the temporary solution.
The "Bookmarks" name ("Lesezeichen" in German?) in the Localizable.strings and the Menu bar must be the same. If not, bookmarks don't appear. This is the same in the Japanese language environment. Temporary solution is as follows: Quit OmniWeb first. Open the Contents > Resources > de.lproj > Localizable.strings with Xcode (or whichever text editor appliction you like). You'll find these strings in lines 197-198. /* bookmarks page title */ "Bookmarks" = "Lesezeichen"; Change it this way: /* bookmarks page title */ "Bookmarks" = "Bookmarks"; Save it and relaunch OmniWeb. This way you can see your bookmarks in the "Bookmarks" menu. |

Sorry, one important correction:
The strings to be changed are Lines 203-204. /* this MUST be the name of the bookmarks menu in the main nib */ "Bookmarks_MENU_TITLE" = "Lesezeichen"; should be changed to /* this MUST be the name of the bookmarks menu in the main nib */ "Bookmarks_MENU_TITLE" = "Bookmarks"; This SHOULD fix the "Invoke bookmarks via Command 1-9 bug", too. |
