Selecting Points of a Shape
Greetings all,
New user to Omnigraffle 5 and loving it but I have a feeling that I may be missing out on some basic functionality that isnt easily found. I've done some searching on the forums and in the help to no avail, so I am posting the question here: Is there a way to select individual of points in a shape to move a section of a shape and not just affect the whole shape itself? Much like how Adobe Illustrator has a Selection tool (Whole shape) and a Direct Selection Tool (Points of a Shape). The direct selection tool allows a user to select part of a shape and manipulate it. Does OG have anything similar? |
If it's a shape that you've created via the Shape Tool and not the Pen Tool, you can go to the Edit Menu --> Shapes submenu and select "Make points editable" and that should get you where you want to be.
Hope that helps, |
It did. Thanks!
