How to avoid "errands" to show up in today view

Hello everybody,

I am using "Errands" as context with some additional subcontext for different stores, places, etc. (e.g., Errands : Store A). So when I know I will go to place A, I will look up the things to buy (or to do) at this particular store.

With that approach I don't need a start date nor a due date for these actions (only if there is a deadline involved). However, I would also like to get them out of my sight in the today list. One way would be to have a start date in, let's say, 10 years, but this means every time I add such a new action I would have to fill that out. I would prefer a solution, where I don't have to define a starting date and it still does not show up in my today list.
Maybe the solution is straight forward, but I was not able to find one so far.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your help.

All the best,
Helmut

You could make errands an On Hold (waiting) context, then it will not appear your today list

Thank you so much! That's a great solution.

All the best,
Helmut
