Why does this 'stencil badge' appear??

All of a sudden a 'stencil badge' appeared on a bunch of my Canvases. (see attached image). They don't seem to have anything in common as I don't believe all of the Canvases used the same stencil. What does the 'badge' mean and how can I make it go away??
