Typing 'localhost' Doesn't Work
One thing that is an annoyance more than anything, if I type:
localhost:3000 into the location field, I get a page saying it can't handle 'localhost'. I have to type in 'http://localhost:3000'. Every other browser I have ever tried auto-completes the original for me. It seems OmniWeb could too. This is on 5.5. |
You're right... another thing that didn't make it over from 5.1.3.

you could create a shortcut in the meantime:

I reported this as a bug some time ago. If you type: somesite.com:1234 it doesn't realise it's a host + port.

Sorry about this. it is on our list of things that need fixing.
