Use of the discrete graphics card
 

Omni focus 1.10.5 has started on occasion to use the discrete graphics card on my retina macbook pro.

Obviously this is a bit of a killer for my battery and the app shouldn't need it.

I can't really pinpoint why it is being used. As sometime it's fine. Other times when it opens the discrete graphics card kicks in and i have to stop it.

This may have something todo with mavericks showing that OF is using too much power. At the moment it's using the integrated graphics and mavericks is not listing it as an app using significant energy.

Any ideas ? Or any more info I can collect ?

PS. It kicked into using the discrete card just by giving it focus. It's odd.

OmniFocus 1.10.6 addresses this issue and is now available for direct customers. (Mac App Store update is queued for review.)
