Set new date for action - Easiest way?
I have an action that needs details from a third part.
To make the action vanish from my list I put a new date in the start date. Thus it will show up when that date arrives. Question:
- Is there an easy way to set a new date for an action? A shortcut of some kind. As it is now I have to move the mouse etc. It takes time. - Is there an easier way to do this? Am I interpreting OF wrong regarding this?
I used to use a context called "Waiting for", but it turned out I never looked there, so the actions where "lost"... TIA! |
Do you show the start and due date columns in your windows? If so, just tab over there and type in the new date/time. You can type things like "+13d" (13 days from today), "10 jul" (10 July, this year), "3p" (3 PM), or mix and match, like "10 jul +4w 7a" (7 AM on the date 4 weeks after 10 July of this year). About the only time I use the inspector to change a date is when it is a date that doesn't appear in my window, or if I'm changing something else in the inspector at the same time.

Aha, of course. Have missed the column handling. Thanks!
