KGTD Carry Over
i just noticed something interesting about my OF contexts.
Ethan had some special context suffixes in KGTD. One was a +, for future tasks that you didn't want to be in Next Actions. This is still working in OF. So, even though I have only one task in my Friends Project, since its context is SomedayMaybe+, it is neither a next action nor an available action. I've noticed in some other threads that people want a way to take a task out of the queue -- here it is. Create a context ending with a + Omni, please keep this feature, or something like it. --Liz |
I noticed that all my Projects that came across with # were on hold (GOOD).
Also noticed that Contexts with "+" were shaded out and in the inspector have something like "Available for next" unchecked. Seems like that is what is working. BZ |
I think that when importing from kGTD, "+" contexts are automatically given the status of not allowing next actions. However, that's not the case for creating a new context with a "+" at the end (r87919). You'd have to manually disallow next actions. Having said that, any context can disallow next actions in OF, not just "+" ones.
