Any way to change the application icon?
 

I've tried changing the purple folder application icon using Pixadex and also using the old Get Info-copy-paste method. The application icon changes in my Finder, but reverts to the original icon in the dock after the application is launched.

Am I stuck with the purple folder? I hate purple . . .

Did you change the OmniFocus.icns file in the bundle?

No, I didn't change the icon in the bundle.

Never did that before. Where/how do I start?

Select the app, right-click and select Show Package Contents, go into the Resources folder, edit/replace the <appname>.icns file, which has 4 copies of the icon of various sizes. Or keep any casual borrower of your machine on their toes by substituting the .icns file from other applications :-)

Yes, it WOULD be interesting to have every application have the same icon . . . .
