Short cut to split action line into 2 entries?

Is there a way to split an action into 2 entries? In OmniOutliner you can place the cursor at the point in the existing line where you want to split it and just hit return. That does not work in OmniFocus of course. But is there a way to do that or must I just cut and paste?
Thanks

Unfortunately, I don't think there's currently a way to do this in OmniFocus, at least not that I know of. However, it could probably be done with AppleScript, if that's of any help.

It'd be a nice feature to add. I used it a lot in OmniOutliner (had mine set to use Control-Return to split the entry).

Another vote to add this as an option. More than once I have had a list of items to do sent to me, I paste into OF and then there is no simple way other than cutting and pasting to split them up into individual actions.

You're pasting it wrong -- if you click on the row handle before pasting a list of lines, you'll get separate actions, one per line. If you click in the row, you'll get a multi-line action.

Thanks! That does it.

I agree. I use this all the time in OmniOutliner.
